For the final ever laughterinoddplaces I made a special animation to replace the real, educational (but actually a bit dull) film in the Museum Of London’s Great Fire Of London display.

It’s mu first period animation (snigger) and features the voices of Sara Pascoe, Ben Moor and Richard Herring.

Which sent me toward one of those horrible youtube vortex spirals of doom as i spent far too long seeing lots of videos of people watching susan boyle for the first time and often crying.

One of the first things that I noticed was that she’s not actually very good. Especially if you can’t see her face to counteract the appearance:voice ratio

I had to make my own version (I say had to, I mean more that I had to avoid doing some other things) and I’m still trying to learn animation, so here it is…

It took longer than I thought it would and it’s not as good aoped.s I h

i explain the credit crunch

For one of my Brighton Sitting On A Rug specials we had a credit crunch one (Sitting On A Deficit) I made a little animation trying to make some sense of the credit crunch. It goes a little odd at the end, and the sound is pretty shit… but here it is…

I still don’t understand it.
