Before they tell us that we’ve just died

Today has been most definitely an up and down day, the downs slightly outweighing the ups

Firstly, the fine Daily Mail owned free paper “The Metro” gave me a two star slating that I thought was a bit too harsh at best.

This is not good. And obviously not what I was hoping to be receiving.

Starting to fear that really I have written a shit show, and whether this year of work and saving has been worth it

But the gig (which I was expecting to be a bit empty thanks to the review) was pretty damn full – 34 people, a lot more than I was getting this time last year. And they loved the show. I can seemingly reside in the other critical failures that have commercial success in this world, like Jim Davidson.

After the gig someone told me it was the best thing he’d seen on the fringe.

That was nice
