I was at the Rise music festival thingy today, it was fun, I got there iin time to see Graham Coxon, I like him.
I was surprised to see that next on the line up was the Buzzcocks, I don’t know much of their stuff, but “Ever Fallen In Love” is one of my all time favourite songs so was a bit keen to stay and have a gander.
I didn’t even know they’d reformed, that’s how out of touch I am with the punk world, and I never have even had a mohican, apart from sometimes when I get out of the shower feeling mischevious.
The thing is, the Buzzcocks are old, it was a bit weird. The lead singer, although I don’t know what he used to look like, but am presuming a skinny sexy oyung angry man… hang on I will google search a picture…

…can’t find any – but let us presume my assumptions were correct and that he was what i said just.
Cos he ain’t anymore, the lead singer is a fattish oldish balding man who looks more like a darts player, someones dad, or both.
Obviously there is nothing wrong with, elderly love is fine. But I just felt a bit odd.
