The Comedy Store Pizza

I played The Comedy Store last night for the first time. And it went pretty well (going back for a Friday night in Jan… gulp)

I’d gotten probably the most nervous before this five min gig than I ever had for one before (and not surprising, it is the bloody Comedy Store) and I hadn’t eaten all day.

So by the time I was nearly home, and with a couple of pints in me I figured it was time for some food.

I didn’t want anything junky or heavy like chips or burger or pizza or anything. I just wanted something snacky. So I figured I’d go to the old faithful place of Sainsbury’s to pick up something like a sandwich or who knows what else.

I walked past the pizza aisle, the hot n’ spicy pizza that is always sold out when I want a pizza was there. My hyperactive glee from the gig was in control and my sensibilities were out of the window. This pizza is here, it is not normally here, so therefore I should have it.

So I bought it

I cooked it

I ate it

It was big and heavy, my belly wasn’t happy and so I finished the night of my bestest type scary achievement type gig everer doubled up in bed farting like a trooper.

I hope this is tradition for the comedy store.
