The weather has gotten more and more erratic in recent years. The threat of global warming is now a reality and lot’s of people are moaning about it.
But tonight felt like nostalgic weather. The kind of weather we had when we all had Rubiks Cubes and spangles and milk in cartons etc.
I got in from work and did a rare thing for me, I shut my curtains. I normally leave them open in a last ditch effort to wake me up in the mornings with natural sunlight as well as the twenty seven alarm clocks.
But the cold was coming through my nostalgic single pane windows so I shut the curtains up and for the first time this winter I put on the radiator.
It’s here.
So I put on Grand Designs on thetelly, heated up a bowl of soup and sat on my sofa in my duvet with my soup and radiator (well, sat near radiator).
I only felt sad as I have lost my hat and would very much wish it could be here with me.
May it rest in peace.
