I did not have sex with someone, the title ‘pulled’ refers to the fact that audience equalling zero meant that only three in and I had to pull the show.
This is very depressing and worrying, suddenly my idea of not hiring PR people seems foolish, is all of the work on this hsow for nothing?
But the festival hasn’t started properly yet, and many shows didn’t open until tonight, so the small audience base were spread thinner
Then off to play The Establishment, I didn’t really know what to expect, turns out it is a bit of a sham, but a lovely one. In C Venues main bar thingy. Very free and very busy, at least 100 people. Andrew J Lederer opens with a quickie set as he was running very late to go and play Spank at the Underbelly (a proper gig folks)
I get heckled by the rowdy crowd, but love it. Need a bit of banter to perk up my mood from gig pullage. It’s fun, I#’m not as great as I could be and find out that the main worst drunken group heckler was my Marketing lady from C Venues. haha
As myself and Martin Evans leave the gig I check the ThreeWeeks daily review print out thingy.

Oh God I’m happy, the guy must have been in on the first night. Maybe tomorrow I wont have to pull gig
